About Andra Wauters & Cache Coach
Working as a Financial Controller for a Fortune 300 company managing $150+ million annually, I realized the knowledge and experience I had gained over the course of my entire accounting / finance career, could be put to personal use.
My husband's career moved us from the Midwest to the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southwest and recently back to the Midwest. This meant my job changed often to different companies and different industries.
I started in the commercial real estate mortgage-backed securities, then homebuilding industry. Moved to a technology startup at an Internet Service Provider which led to many years in the telecommunications industry. Moving yet again led me to the environmental / waste industry.
Each industry gave me an opportunity to learn and accumulate a wealth of knowledge of how business works in both private and public companies as well as small and large ones. Experience I wouldn't have gained by staying at one company.
I created Cache Coach because I saw a need that was greater in personal finance beyond the tactical day-to-day understanding of money management to more of the strategic, life-altering financial decisions we make. Far more focus and time are spent on the tactical and far less on the strategic. Having a genuine interest in technology allows me to incorporate this ever-changing facet. It also gives me the flexibility to travel more often.
My mission is:
1) to help educate yourself in the important, strategic personal finance decisions you must make and
2) how to persevere in the ever-changing digital world so you can keep your treasures secure, private and smart.
It isn't a one-time fix. It's staying one step ahead.
Education: Personal Finance Certificate, Texas Tech University, MBA, James Madison University, BA, Accounting, Northwestern College
